Sales Director - Northern Europe - Telco Software Vendor

My client, a leading software vendor selling into mobile operators, is looking for a Sales Director for Northern Europe. I am looking for someone ideally based in Belgium, Holland or Sweden and will look after that region.

The ideal candidate will have good connections / experience selling into key operators in the region (Vodafone, KPN, Telefonica, Telenor, Telia etc). The client is medium sized but growing quickly and is a clear market leading company in it's space.

The client is ideally looking for someone that has a technical background before they moved into sales so would be able to get into a reasonably detailed conversation about the products my client offers (Roaming VAS Solutions). The client would prefer someone with a background in the IN / Network area, although anyone that has a background in how mobile networks work (Radio, Transmission, Switching, Roaming, VAS, Voice & Data, IN, Billing etc) would be of interest.

Candidates should have an excellent track record in closing deals with operators and the ability to be able to work remotely.
